
MOU Exchange Ceremony between Shramjeevi Foundation and Jaybhart Foundation – Women Empowerment Program

On September 26, 2024, a significant MOU exchange ceremony was held between Shramjeevi Foundation and Jaybhart Foundation, marking a vital collaboration for the Women Empowerment Program. The event took place at Chikalgudd, and it was graced by distinguished guests and dignitaries who shared their thoughts and support for the program.
The Chief Guest for the event, Mr. Satyanarayana Rao Chillarigi, Vice President of Operations for Jayadi Techmac Casting Plant, emphasized the importance of empowering women and highlighted the role of community-based initiatives in driving positive social change.
Ms. Anuradha Arun Kapasi, the Secretary of the District Stree Shakti Union, Belgaum, also expressed her support for the initiative. She acknowledged the contributions of Shramjeevi Foundation and Jaybhart Foundation in creating opportunities for women in rural areas and stated that the stitching program would give them the confidence to create their own businesses.
Ms. Sharavva Daroji, President of Shramjeevi Foundation, highlighted the significance of community-driven empowerment programs. She mentioned that the foundation’s goal is to ensure that women in every corner of Belgaum are equipped with skills that open doors to employment and entrepreneurship. The free stitching classes were identified as one of the most effective ways to support this mission.
Mr. Basavaprabhu Vantamuri, District President of the Karnataka State Farmers Association (RI) and Labor Workers Interest Association Belgaum, emphasized that the empowerment of women is a critical aspect of social and economic development. He assured that these efforts would significantly impact the local community, bringing long-lasting change to the lives of many women and their families.
Mr. Basangouda K Patil, CSR Manager at Jaybhart Foundation, highlighted the foundation’s commitment to its corporate social responsibility and the importance of collaborations with like-minded organizations. He shared his enthusiasm about the long-term potential of the women empowerment program and the positive impact it would have on the region.
The ceremony concluded with the symbolic exchange of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking the formal collaboration between Shramjeevi Foundation and Jaybhart Foundation. The event also saw the inauguration of the free stitching classes, which will provide women in Chikalgudd and surrounding areas with valuable skills to improve their livelihood and financial independence.
