The Certificate Distribution Ceremony of the Women Empowerment Training Program was held on February 14, 2025, at Kanagala, marking the successful completion of the initiative aimed at equipping women with essential skills for self-reliance and empowerment.
The event was presided over by Honorable Shri A. B. Patil, Former Minister and President of S.D.V.S. Sangh, Sankeshwar. In his address, he commended the efforts of the organizers and emphasized the importance of empowering women through education and skill development.
The Chief Guest, Ms. Ondi McMaster, from AtelierOM – Eco Ethical Artisanal Textiles and Apparel, New York City, USA, shared her insights on sustainable entrepreneurship and the role of women in ethical business practices. She encouraged the participants to apply their newfound skills to achieve financial independence and contribute to their communities.
The ceremony was further graced by the presence of Honored Guest, Mr. Satyanarayanarao Chillarigi, Vice President of Operations, Jayadi Techmac Casting Plant, who reiterated the importance of corporate and community collaboration in fostering women’s empowerment.
